Principal Inverstigator

Dr. Sungyong Jung received a Ph.D. degree in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. His doctoral research focused on CMOS optical transceiver circuit design including parasitic effects and analysis. Upon graduation, he was involved in optical transceiver design to improve spectral efficiency with Quellan Inc. as an advanced circuit engineer. Currently, he is an associate chair and professor in the electrical engineering department at the University of Texas at Arlington. He has established integrated sensing circuits and systems (ISCS) laboratory, which specializes in integrated circuits and embedded systems for chemical and bio sensing applications. His research interests include bio/chemical sensing integrated circuits and embedded systems, RF IC Design, analog and mixed signal IC design, hearing aid devices, smart farming, and environmental sensing. He is the associate editor in Sensor Device section and Sensor Network section of Frontiers in Sensors and the associate editor in IEEE Access.

Prof. Hyusim Park is an assistant professor in ECE at Oklahoma State University. She was a postdoctoral researcher in ISCS Lab and received a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington. Her research includes the electrochemical sensing system on a CMOS IC chip for E-nose application, glucose sensing, and air quality monitoring. She has also implemented electrochemical sensing systems on a board from hardware design to software development.
